Play The Course, Not Your Opponent
19th May
Jorge has informed us that Maintenance week is 20th to 31st July. Split up as follows:
* Holes 1–9: fully closed from 20th to 26th July
* Holes 10–18: fully closed from 27th to 31st July
The options for playing are as follows:
* 9 holes on the open Championship Course + 9 holes on the Resort Course
* Playing the same 9 holes twice on the open Championship Course
* Playing 18 holes on the Resort Course
As none of these options are viable we have decided to cancel all competitions during this period. This will include 2 midweek comps and 1 weekend comp.
Obviously you are welcome to play whenever you wish during that period.

About Us
Based at the Penina Hotel & Golf Resort in the Western Algarve we are a group of golfers who pride ourselves on playing competitive but friendly golf.
The renowned Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course at Penina Golf Club provides the back drop for most of our competitions. We play a mixture of serious qualifying competitions (both stableford and Medal) with the occasional team/fun competition as a change.
